What’s up lads! Verdaccio here, yet again with another deck guide. Royal Giant combo guide!

My last deck guide was with the cycle loon deck, which I was able to 12-win in my previous Grand Challenge with both decks.

And now, it is none other than the Royal Giant with the 3 Wizards, the hard counter to my previous guide but overall, it is a solid deck! Without any more ado let’s check the deck!

Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

The Cards

Here are the brief explanations about every card I include in this guide.

Royal Giant

Royal Giant is our leading actor on the screen. He will be the chief destroyer in the arena. All you have to do is play him gently. Also, give him some support to protect him from any harm to come.

Wizard deals area damage, he is a damage splasher. First of all, he is to handle any swarm army and make some hits on the enemy’s tower. Also, he is the strongest protector in protecting the Royal Giant. You can use the Wizard to build a solid strike towards the enemy’s base.

Electro Wizard

Crazy hair of this crazy guy is just insanely annoying. You can deploy Electro Wizard to join the guardian of the Royal Giant. Most of all, you can send Electro Wizard when your enemy has any Infernos (Tower/Dragon) kind of unit. It is either the Tower or Dragon, eWizard can handle them pretty easily.

Ice Wizard

Ice wizard is currently considered to be the most efficient in protecting any leading cards in any decks. He can deliver splash damage with average-hit. What’s more, every troop gets hit will be slowed both the speed and attack speed. Also, it can be an excellent strategy to counter any high damage-dealer such as Elite Barbarians or P.E.K.K.A/Mini which tries to topple the Royal Giant down.

Dart Goblin

Next, we have Dart Goblin. Dart goblin will be easily handling the Inferno Tower since it has quick hit and ability to hit from such distance. I recommend you to pick the Dart Goblin because most of the times, the enemy will choose Inferno Tower to deal with your Royal Giant. With an Inferno Tower standing, our RoyalG will be distracted and killed by it.

Goblin Gang

Goblin Gang is the only swarm army card you have in this deck. I think most of you have already know the purpose of using this card. Yup, most of all, it is for defending your base against any high-damage single-targeting card such as the P.E.K.K.A/Mini, Giant Skeleton, Prince, Inferno Dragon, Elite Barbarians, etc.

The Log

The Log job description is to be an alternative card to counter any swarm army that blocks the way. Most noteworthy, you should have a cheap card in the deck that can deal area damage that also can put you at the Elixir advantage. For instance, use the Log to deal with Princess or Skeleton Army to get one Elixir advantage.

Zap is another alternative card in wiping any swarm army. In cycling, sometimes you get the Log and sometimes you don’t. Therefore, since the job description is rather to be the same, they can be used either separately or all together in dealing. Nevertheless, there is some upside from Zap ability to re-target any hitting enemy or restart a gradual damage of the Inferno Tower or Dragon.

How to play

A little explanation to apply the strategy.

First Minute of the Battle

At the beginning of the game (3.00 – 2.00), you can start giving the enemy a little attempt using one ranged card like the Dart Goblin or Ice Wizard. However, if you want to start harassing, you can deploy the Royal Giant with only one support card. I recommend you to hold on to your patience, though. Because at the first minute, you have to rely upon your counter-attacking, not the first-attempt strike.

From 2 Minutes

In mid game (2.00 – 1.00), you can now start being annoying, push the lane with your Royal Giant together with one to two support cards, select any of the Wizards by all means. Nevertheless, keep in mind that if the enemy has the Elixir advantage, you might want to hold your play on, like in the early game. Most noteworthy, Royale Giant is a ranged type so, at this time of the battle, you can ignore the enemy’s attack and strike the other line since he can assault the enemy’s tower faster than any building-targeting cards.

Last Minute – Sudden Death

Your time has come. This is the time where you can deliver your all-out attack. You can deploy all the 8 cards in the deck at this double Elixir moment. That’s the reason why any building-targeting cards have to be the leading actors in the deck, it’s just buffed & meta. All 8 cards in the deck will counter any type of troops in the enemy’s defense line. Keep deploying in the right placing and timing till you get the game.

Happy trying, cheers!
